In an era marked by a global environmental crisis and widening social inequality, the 3rd International Symposium on Environmental and Energy Policy (ISEEP 2025) serves as a vital platform to explore innovative solutions through the lens of Human Ecology. This approach provides a holistic framework for addressing the complex intersection of environmental, social, and political challenges.
ISEEP 2025 is proudly organized by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau, in collaboration with LPPM Universitas Riau, PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional, and key regional governments. Our mission is to bridge scientific research with real-world policy implementation, fostering dialogue that drives meaningful action.
This year’s theme emphasizes the urgent need to integrate environmental governance with social justice, acknowledging that the impacts of climate change, natural disasters, and ecological degradation fall disproportionately on women, low-income groups, and coastal communities.
Aligned with Indonesia’s national development priorities—including gender equity and sustainable human development as outlined in Asta Cita 2024–2029—ISEEP champions inclusive, context-based strategies to build resilient and equitable futures.
