About ISEEP 2025

THE 3rd ISEEP 2025

The 3rd International Symposium on Environmental and Energy Policy (ISEEP-2025 )

In a time of global environmental crisis and growing social inequality, the 3rd ISEEP 2025 explores Human Ecology as a powerful framework to address both environmental and socio-political challenges. Organized by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau, in partnership with LPPM Universitas Riau, PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional and regional governments, this symposium bridges scientific knowledge with real policy action. This year’s theme highlights the urgent need to integrate environmental governance with social justice recognizing how climate change, disasters, and ecological degradation disproportionately affect women, the poor, and coastal communities. Aligned with Indonesia’s national priorities on gender equity and sustainable human development (Asta Cita 2024–2029), ISEEP promotes inclusive, context-based approaches for resilient futures. Participants will join dynamic sessions featuring international experts, policymakers, and academics, and gain the opportunity to publish in indexed journals.
